Por largo tiempo verán imágenes que pertenecen a un ensayo fotográfico sobre la UNIDAD DE TERAPIA INTENSIVA ó CUIDADOS INTENSIVOS. Luego de cinco años de caminar en la Terapia de un Hospital para captar aquello que me duele, la enfermedad al borde de la muerte o a un paso de volver a la vida cotidiana, además de toda la "rutina" de cuidar enfermos, a veces tambien estan enfermos aquellos que son los que prodigan dichos cuidados.
No pretendo inpresionar sino compartir mi experiencia en imágenes con Uds.
For a while I will be displaying images of a “photographic essay” centered around the ICU (intensive Care Unit). After, 5 years of witnessing activities in the ICU to capture that which grieves me, illness at the border of death, or those just a step from recovery to normal life, as well as those more routine acts of caring for the ill, and even sometime those who give the care, often themselves afflicted by illness. I don’t pretend to shock but only to share my experience with you, through my images.
